Be part of our Sunday morning team to connect, grow, and serve. Use your talents to help design and execute meaningful worship experiences.
• Door Greeter: Welcome attendees for 30 minutes before worship. Serve weekly or as part of a rotation.
• Hospitality (Refreshments): Help set up and serve coffee or snacks before and after services. Typically serve once a month.
• Front Patio Host: Create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests arriving at church. Serve weekly or on a monthly rotation.
• Usher/Communion Help: Assist during services with seating or communion. Serve weekly or monthly, depending on your availability.
• Welcome Center Staff: Answer questions and provide information at the Welcome Center before or after worship. Serve once or twice a month.
• Security Team: Help ensure a safe worship environment. Serve weekly or as part of a team rotation.
• Music Selection Team: Meet quarterly to help curate worship music.
• Video/Audio Team & Online Broadcast: Assist with the live streaming of services. This role is typically once a week. Operate sound and video equipment during worship. Serve weekly or as part of a rotating team.
• Altar/Communion Setup: Prepare the altar and communion elements before worship. Serve once or twice a month.
Help Crosspoint Kids grow in their faith and build a foundation in Christ.
(Note: all volunteers working with kids, have a background check prior to starting. Leader / Teaching positions require membership of Crosspoint)
• Kids’ Space Supervisor (Before or After Worship): Serve once or twice a month ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for children.
• Nursery/Tot Care Leader or Helper: Volunteer during worship once a month or as part of a rotating schedule.
• Kids Church Leader or Helper: Lead kids in learning about Jesus during worship. This role typically serves once or twice a month.
• Mentor for Kids (3rd Grade & Up): Build relationships and guide older children in faith. Mentorship can be tailored to your schedule.
Bring Jesus to our community through creative and impactful outreach efforts.
• Social Media Marketing: Share our message online. Flexible, based on your time and skills.
• Event Planning Team: Plan church events. Commitments are event-based and vary. Assist with event setup, execution, and cleanup. Typically serve 2-3 times a year.
• Website Updates/Development: Help keep our website current and engaging. Serve monthly or as needed.
• Contact Follow-up: Reach out to guests and community members. Serve weekly or as part of a team.
• Flier Distribution: Distribute promotional materials in the community. Serve quarterly or as needed.
Keep our property beautiful and functional as a platform for the Gospel.
• Facility Cleaning: Help clean the church facility. Serve weekly, monthly, or during special cleaning days.
• Lawn Mowing/Flower Beds: Care for the grounds on a rotating basis, typically 1-2 times a month.
• Handyman/Woman: Assist with minor repairs and maintenance as needed. Flexible based on projects.
• Workday Volunteer: Participate in scheduled workdays to tackle larger projects. Serve 2-4 times a year.
Support and care for our Crosspoint family in times of need and celebration.
• Hospital/Senior Visitation: Visit members in the hospital or shut-ins. Flexible, as needs arise.
• Encouragement Ministry: Send notes of encouragement and celebration. Serve monthly or as needed.
• Meal Coordination: Organize meals for members in need. As requests come in.
• Give Rides to Church: Provide transportation for members. Serve weekly or as needed.
• Prayer Partner: Pray with and for members. Flexible based on availability.
Encourage spiritual growth among our adult members.
• Small Group Host: Host or lead a small group weekly or bi-weekly.
• Discussion Leader: Facilitate discussions in Bible studies or classes. Serve weekly or bi-weekly.
Support the operational needs of the church. Take an active role in supporting or guiding our congregation’s mission and vision.
• Database /HUB Administration: Help manage church data and systems. Assist in organizing schedules and events. Serve weekly or bi-weekly.
• Ministry Team Coordinator: Oversee specific ministry teams. Serve monthly or as needed.
• Elder or Council: Commit to leadership with regular monthly meetings and ongoing responsibilities.
